In Livingstone the Victoria Falls mark the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Here the Zambezi River disappears into a 1700 metre wide and 128 metre deep chasm before escaping along a narrow canyon.

The falls can be reached all year round from Livingstone (Zambie).

Immigration formalities are handled by customs on entry. Malaria medication is recommended when travelling to this area.
